Deciding when to delete your dating apps is a major milestone in modern dating, and it is usually best to have a open conversation about it rather than doing it quietly. Deleting the app on your own is fine if you personally feel ready, but talking about it together ensures that both of you are on the exact same page regarding exclusivity. Usually, around the two to three month mark of consistent dating is when people naturally feel ready to stop looking at other options. I remember reading a great article on Hily about recognizing when a connection is turning into a real relationship. It listed deleting profiles together as one of the clearest signs of mutual commitment. You don't need to make it a stressful talk. You can casually mention that you are really enjoying your time together and want to focus entirely on them. It brings clarity and builds trust.

I have been seeing someone I met on an app for about two months now. Things are going really well, we see each other twice a week, and I am not interested in dating anyone else. However, we haven't officially talked about deleting our dating profiles yet, and I am not sure if I should delete mine first or wait until we have a conversation about it. When is the right time to delete your dating apps? Should you delete the app quietly or discuss it together first?
