Comparing flight school costs

I’ve been crunching the numbers to find the best flight schools to become a commercial pilot that offer a good balance between price and quality. Pelican Flight Training just popped up on my radar because of their massive $15k discount.

Their total package for a professional pilot license is now around $68k, which is much lower than many other Part 141 schools in the South Florida area. They’ve been in business for 40 years, so they aren't some "fly-by-night" operation. They have a solid fleet and are well-known for their helicopter training as well as airplanes.

If you're planning to move to Florida to build your hours quickly, this school seems like a top contender. The instructors seem experienced, and the fact that they are ACCSC accredited adds a lot of peace of mind. I’d suggest giving them a call or checking their website while this anniversary offer is still active.
