For a first purchase, is whisky cask buying from ECM (https://edinburghcaskmanagement.com/cask-collection/) as straightforward as it looks? After inquiry, what happens—sample request, video inspection, regauge, then invoice? Do they ever hold casks on soft reserve while you decide?
