A smaller presentation could preserve the character of the clip while making it comfortable to watch. The date and caption would also explain why it belongs in the album. Settle the source file before making several edited versions. Save the best result offered for your own post and keep that file unchanged. Test it at the size you plan to use in the album. Give the clip a place in the album based on its meaning first, then test how it looks within that layout. You could present it at a smaller size with a date and a short caption rather than enlarging it to fill every part of the frame. I would avoid repeatedly exporting it while experimenting, since keeping an untouched source makes comparisons easier. Try a few layouts in the project and choose the one where faces and movement remain clear enough to enjoy. The birthday moment can hold attention without matching the visual style of every newer recording.

I am assembling a family video album and want to include a short TikTok I posted several years ago. It shows a birthday moment that nobody else recorded, so the content matters more than achieving a perfect picture. Still, I would like the best copy I can obtain before combining it with newer footage. The clip looks soft when enlarged, and I am unsure whether choosing an HD download would change that. How would you decide on a suitable presentation without spending hours trying to make an older recording resemble videos captured on a newer phone?
