Factory resetting a Google Home Mini is easy. It brings the device back to its original settings. This is helpful if you’re selling, gifting, or fixing problems. To reset the device, locate the small reset button at the bottom of the speaker, below the power cord. Press and hold this button for about 15 seconds until you hear a confirmation sound from the device. After the process finishes, the Google Home Mini will erase all saved data. This includes Wi-Fi details, linked accounts, and preferences. It will return to its original out-of-the-box state. After resetting, it can be set up again through the Google Home app on a smartphone.
