Yes, a hummingbird is a buyer in the nourishment chain. In biological terms, a customer is any life form that cannot deliver its possess nourishment and must depend on other life forms for vitality. Hummingbirds fit this definition impeccably since they get vitality by nourishing on nectar from blooms and little creepy crawlies like gnats, natural product flies, and spiders.
